Joseph Gannon combines his experience as an attorney with his 20 years of combined experience as a teacher and school administrator to advocate for the rights of students in New Jersey in a comprehensive approach.  Mr. Gannon earned his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law, as well as his bachelor’s degree from the U.S. Naval Academy.

In addition, Mr. Gannon has a Master’s in Public Administration and a Doctorate of Educational Leadership.  As an education lawyer in NJ, Mr. Gannon’s practice focuses on the educational rights of children aged 3-21.  Such specialties in that area include special education needs of students, the New Jersey Early Intervention system, bullying, school suspension and expulsion hearings, young adult criminal defense, domestic violence, and child-centered divorce.

Mr. Gannon also pursues an academic interest in education policy, authoring the paper, “New Jersey Public Schools: An Inefficient System of Public Education
